Notchit is a tool for collecting feedback from everyone who uses a website - so it matters to us that everyone can actually use it. This statement describes the accessibility status of the Notchit marketing site (notchit.io), the app dashboard (app.notchit.io), and the embedded feedback widget.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is part of our design review for new features, not an afterthought.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and named landmarks;
- full keyboard operability - all interactive elements are reachable and usable with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators;
- color contrast that meets or exceeds the AA ratios for text and interface components;
- text alternatives for meaningful images and icons, and labels on all form fields;
- respect for the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting - decorative animation, including the animations on our home page, is disabled when your system requests reduced motion; - touch targets sized for mobile use;
- a “skip to main content” link on marketing pages.
The feedback widget on other websites
The Notchit widget is embedded into websites operated by our customers. We build the widget itself to be keyboard-operable and screen-reader friendly, but we do not control the accessibility of the host website around it. If you hit an accessibility problem on a site that uses Notchit, we still want to hear about it - if the issue is in our widget, we will fix it.
Known limitations
- Screenshots attached to feedback comments are captured images and do not contain machine-readable text;
- some third-party content rendered inside the dashboard (for example, attached files) may not meet the same standard.
Tell us what’s in your way
If any part of Notchit is difficult or impossible for you to use, please email gabi@manta-web.co.il and describe the page and what happened. We treat accessibility reports as bugs: we aim to respond within two business days and to fix confirmed issues promptly.
